Thanks for the quick response! That makes sense - I wouldn't have figured that out, myself. They absolutely have to be stored in the same domain for videos to be mobile accessible?

Okay, good to know. Thanks again for the info!
I contacted the people at our serve about the cross domain setup and have some information from them. Do we need to change our setup now?

Hello,
the crosdomain file will not correct the html5 issue, you have to move the files on the same domain.

Here's the reply from the guy I was communicating with at the server:
"The files are stored on the same domain, BUT if you switch them to that path and eliminate lighttpd, pseudostreaming will be lost.
We use this url: media.yourdomain.com:81 for the lighttpd streaming.
So for example media.yourdomain.com:81/videos/test.flv is the same as www.yourdomain.com/videos/test.flv "
We'd like to keep pseudostreaming functioning, if possible. Also, he said they're on the same domain. It does seem that there's a cross domain set up, but if the files are actually on the same domain, should it matter?

so if you absolutely want to keep the http pseudo streaming (who is only support in flash mode) you will have to used the alternative fallback mode (see
here
), how many items did you have in your playlist ? (because this mode on the module is limit to five items)

Thanks for the link! I'm looking that over now.
We'd rather have over five items in our playlist and support iphones than keep pseudostreaming, if it does, indeed, come between those two options. How should we now set things up to accomodate iphones? What changes do we need to make?

If you want more then five items with alternative fallback mode (flash --> "http" file , html5 --> "video" file), you will need the next version of the module who support JSON playlist.
I can send you the beta version by email if you want ?

Thank you so much!! That would be wonderful and much appreciated. We may end up using that. I'll PM you an email address.
So that version would support more than five items and iphone accessibility? I'm assuming it wouldn't support pseudostreming (which is okay). And I would have to create a JSON playlist instead of an XML playlist, too, right?

I'm sorry, I misread that. You recommended the fallback mode because it does support pseodostreaming AND iphones, right?
