Hello,

it seem that the link is this one ? :

www.arekmazurek.com/index.php/videos

if yes then

1 - You have to put the http:// at the beginning or the url of the playlist

2 - This playlist is not a valid playlist :

www.arekmazurek.com/media/video/video%20playlist.xml

hello,

thanks for replying. i'm not sure about that path being wrong,
beacuse when i go on my server to manage the files the path is:
/public_html/media/video

and thats where i've got my videos and the playlist for them.

is it ok to create that playlist in word 2007 and save it as xml word file or do i need to use some other software ?

It's surely a transcoding issue, convert your file with this tool :

renaun.com/blog/code/qtindexswapper/

Important considerations when streaming H.264 content

One important thing about playing an H.264 video file as progressive download is that the moov atom needs to be located at the beginning of the file, or else the entire file will have to be downloaded before it begins playing. The moov atom is a part of the file that holds index information for the whole file. Unfortunately, tools such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects place this information at the end of the file, but Adobe is working to fix this in a future update to the CS3 video production tools. This isn't an issue for streaming the H.264 video files, however, so Flash Media Server users can breathe easy.

so you're saying that i need to convert that some other extension like H.26.. something right ?
it was originally recorded in AVCHD quality but the files are very very big.
i can only upload up to 200mb on my server or is there another way of uploading without restrictions?

i must say this forum gives a BIG help :)

thanks

If the file is very big but short in time it could be also the issue, use handbrake for encoding :

handbrake.fr/

use those setting :

* Container format: MP4, headers at the beginning of the file (for seeking)
* Video format: H.264, Baseline profile, 480x270 pixels, around 400/600 kbps (kilobits per second)
* Audio format: AAC, Low Complexity profile, 44.1 kHz stereo, 96 kbps
