Hi
Im a new user here... It seems that JoomlaRulez has more than one player and solutions. Thats great - but where to start?

First I'd like to know if I can use a player from here to the following... Here is what I need:

We are running a small uncommercial radiostation in Denmark. From a web-site we want a player, that will play our stream (icecast)

Is it possible to use one of the players (and which one could you recommend?) to a radiostation stream.

I would prefer a player in a module at our website www.kilojoule.dk

This is the stream:
s2.stationplaylist.com:9060/kilojoule.aac.m3u

Where to start?
And will one of your modules go with icecast?

Thanks!

Best regard
Carsten

Replied by carjuth on topic Re: Newbie: We'd like a player to a icecast
Would it be better if I ask my streaming server provider to change the icecast-server to a shoutcast-server?

Is shoutcast better in this case

icecast is not support, I have received the confirmation, shoutcast can be :

1) Download the m3u/pls playlist.

2) Open the playlist with a text editor.

3) Copy the mount point.

4) Paste the mount point into your player code or playlist.

5) If it's a Shoutcast stream, add "/;stream.nsv" to the mount point.

6) Add a type of sound to your player code or playlist.
