Hello,

I'm trying to use the JW Player Module Advanced on my clients website, and I'm having an issue with playing playlists from YouTube. I keep on getting this error message on the webpage: "Playlist could not be loaded due to crossdomain policy restrictions." I'm not sure why I'm getting this message, because I've added the crossdomain.xml file (that came with the module) to the root folder of the website.

My clients temporary url is: b2creativeonline.com/lgost

The XML file is here: b2creativeonline.com/crossdomain.xml and b2creativeonline.com/lgost/crossdomain.xml

Am I missing something? Please help!

you have to remove the space at the beginning of each address file.

But now I'm having another issue. When I click on another playlist in the dropdown menu, I'm getting this error: "Playlist could not be loaded: HTTP status 400; bad request." I'm not even sure what that means.

Also, is there a way to change the "title" of the playlist in the dropdown menu? Right now it's the url code of the video. I would like it to be the name of the playlist on YouTube.

1 - This url is not ok :

Invalid playlist id

you have to remove the first "3" in the playlist ID-->



2 - For the playlist name set in the backend /Module Parameters/

the field "Titles for Dropdown List" --> "Curl", this will be parsing the playlist for find meta title, note for working you server must have curl library installed ( the most of time it's the case)

i try to load playlist from jwplayer

the url from youtube is

i put back end the module this link

gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/playlists/PL05533EAEC8FCD17A

and returns
http status 400 bad url.

any ideas?

You have to removed the PL in the code

the sound play correct now from playlist (youtube).
it is possible see and the video also ?

if you don't see the video it's mean that you have not set correctly one of the size parameters (height, width, playlist size, playlist position)

the problem was, i have enable Plugin Revolt
also i found a small problem.
i don't know if this is bug

I asked this to longtail, and here is the answer :



it should be ok with a local file.

the strange is, why the firefox and chrome does plays normal and internet explorer 9 does not play?
i confirm also, the local file play normal to all broswer the Plugin Revolt.

it still causes an error in those browsers, but those browsers let the error though without failing 100% , but IE does fail. you shouldn't be using a plugin like that (visualization), when using YouTube.
