Hi,

i use JW Player Module to show a mp4 file.

After hours i am able to see the player on the screen. But there is no sound. The movie is seen only in fullscreen without sound.

I have just only one mp4 file now. The path is set to absolute path like

mydomain.com/media/file.mp4

Volume : 90

Any hints ?

thinks it's a encoding issue,

Flashplayer requires MP4's to be H264 encoded to play them.

So i check you mp4 and is encoded with AVC1 codec this is not support, you have to encode it to H264

other point you can set playlist position to none as you have only one file to stream.



about joomfish, i don't know, i never used this component, i have to make a test.

i´ve downloaded handbrake.

It looks fine. But the files are still too big, but this is another problem.

I would like to buy a licence of the advance player. Is it possible to get a time-bombed-trial-version? (Couple days)

I would first test it in joomfish.

BTW: Is the H.264 problem the cause of showing the video only in fullscreen ? I have still no picture.

as i say, you have to set the variable "Playlist Position" to --> "none", ii's why you don't see the body of the player.

the video still took 1-2 seconds to start. Now i converted it to flv and it runs instantly.

Is there no workaround to autostart the lightbox ?

What do you think about meta refresh with the code of the link to start the lightbox ?

Otherwise the player is not the right one for us. Thank you very much for your quick help. I appreciate this really. But the player is missing a main function.
