Free Player Instructions Seem Incomplete

I was able to install the free player module without incident and assign it a position but when I tried to make a single video load in a Joomla article it would not appear. When I created a new module based on the JWPlayer, created a new position and added that position to the article the module title appears but now I get the message:
Could not load plugins: File not found

The direct path of the mp4 I'm trying to get to display in the article works fine in both FF and IE. Not sure what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I cannot send a link since our site is behind a firewall.
