tasx OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 3 Karma: 0	I cannot locate where to change the allow file types for the cb player advanced. I would also like to change the max file size. Can anyone help with this?

Hi, In field Management of CB open each "cb_plfileup" and "cb_plfilethumbnailup" Fields and set the file types allow and max size upload. Best Regards

tasx OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 3 Karma: 0	There are no parameters for those files, that area is blank. When I add my own field I can see and edit those parameters.

Hi Tasx,

For using CB Player Advanced and The CB Ajax File Field Plugin form Joomlapolis who is a Beta version there is some instructions to follow, in the package you have unzip there is a how-to file to open, read and apply.

So uninstall CB Player and CB Ajax File Field Plugin (the fields will not be delete from the database)

then follow this, the order is very important !!!!

USING Upload Fields for Stream and thumbnail File
======================================

How to Install:
---------------

1. Install and Publish CB Player Advanced 1.4.0

2. Install and Publish CB Ajax File Field Plugin for CB Doc Subscribers (www.joomlapolis.com/content/view/7517/37/)

3. Go to the Joomla administration Panel

4. Go to the Field Management of the CB

5. Select and edit the Fields

a. cb_plfileup1, cb_plfileup2, cb_plfileup3, cb_plfileup4, cb_plfileup5.
Set Allowed File Types:mp3,mp4,flv,m3u
Maximum File Size:4096 (Size in Kbs adjust as you want)

b. cb_plfilethumbnailup1, cb_plfilethumbnailup2, cb_plfilethumbnailup3, cb_plfilethumbnailup4, cb_plfilethumbnailup5.
Set Allowed File Types:png,jpg,gif
Maximum File Size:512 (Size in Kbs adjust as you want)

6. That's All Folks

Then you will have to delete the old table of CB Player in Tab management of CB, the one with no plugin attach (this is a minor bug that we don't resolve at this point, it's in wait from more precision from Joomlapolis for how to manage better those new type of fields in a plugin)
